Sport variation (Porsche produced more Comfort variants of the 959). During a 1987 test drive, the factory 959 Sport accelerated at 211
mph while weighing 220 pounds less than the Comfort. As a result, the Porsche 959 was able to claim the title of fastest production automobile for the duration of its lifecycle.
